Louise Dobbelaere-Warren
Louise Dobbelaere-Warren, a homemaker and 23-year resident of the area, died unexpectedly on May 16, 2007 at her home. She was 58.
The daughter of Neil Dobbelaere and Sophie Cleenput Dobbelaere, she was born on November 8, 1948 in Paterson, N.J.
Louise was a member of the Church of the Infant Saviour. She obtained her Bachelors Degree in Sociology from SUNY New Paltz, volunteered at Arden Hill Hospital as a bookkeeper, and was a published poet with an artistic ability for words.
A family statement reads: "Louise was a fierce scrabble player with her cousin, Marilyn, and loved playing Pinochle. She always had time to listen to anyone."
She was the wife of Clayton Warren, who survives her at home. She is also survived by her loving sister, Mary Skora and her husband, Frank of Paramus, N.J.; loving aunt, Louise Suppo of Paramus, N.J.; and many loving cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2007 from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, Inc., 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush, NY 12566.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 19 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Father Kevin Gallagher officiating. Burial will be in New Prospect Cemetery.
