A true Pioneer Woman(in her own words)and Iron Lady (Wallkill Valley Times) Peg and I shared many happy and meaningful times through our involvement with the Town of Shawangunk board. She was always a proponent of preserving the past for those to enjoy and ponder in the future. She became the unofficial go to person when there was ever a question that required a knowledge of the history of the town, it's people or activities. And she always did so with grace and pride. Her legacy is unmatched and will proudly live on. She was one of a kind who will be dearly missed. My sincerest condolences to her family of whom she was very proud. Toni Gagan

Jimmy Trimper was one of my students a long time ago. Peggy Trimper has continued to send birthday cards and Christmas cards ever since -apparently I made quite an impression on Jim's life. I like to think I made a difference and I will miss exchanging cards with Peg.
Sincere sympathy to Peggy's family. She was one great lady and liked by many.
