John M. Dolan John M. Dolan, a longtime area resident, died Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at home in Pine Bush, N.Y. He was 82. The son of Thomas S. Dolan and Katherine Barnes Dolan, he was born November 11, 1923 in Manhattan, N.Y. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, John was a retired Postal Inspector for the United States Post Office in the Bronx, N.Y. He was a member of the Church of the Infant Saviour in Pine Bush. Survivors include his loving daughter, Patricia Dolan Kucera and her husband, Mark, of Yonkers, N.Y.; two loving sons, Kenneth Dolan and his wife, Jean, of Pine Bush, and Timothy Dolan and his wife, Gladys of Pine Bush; eight beloved grandchildren: Keith, Christopher, Kelsey, Michael, Jonathan, Katherine, Elizabeth, and William; one sister; two brothers; and several nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his wife, the late Catherine Stanton Dolan. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 1, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral home, Inc., 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 2 at 10 a.m. in Church of the Infant Saviour, Route 302, Pine Bush, N.Y., with Father Kevin Gallagher officiating. Burial will be next to his wife in New Prospect Cemetery in Pine Bush, N.Y. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, Inc., 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550. Arrangements are by the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, Inc.
