Maureen sent me the sad news about Dottie. While no words of mine can ease your loss, I want you to know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers in your time of sorrow. I will always remember her as a kind and gentle soul.
Unfortunately, I am recuperating from a total knee replacement, so will not be able to attend the services.

Aunt Dottie, you will be missed!! You were always so loving, encouraging, positive, and caring, I always knew you were in my corner. I will never forget all of your kindness. I love you dearly!!! Sending all my love to Janet and John, your mom was a special lady!!

My dear Aunt Dottie, what a wonderful person you were. Never would you say a bad word about anyone, All this time I thought I was your favorite, I now know that everyone was your favorite. Anyone who met and got to know you was a better person for it. You had a way of making everything OK.
I wish I was in better shape to have been able to visit you recently because I could use some of your calming effect, just to let me know that everything is OK. You had that way!!
As I’m writing this I remember back to all the things we did together as kids. You always treated us to new things and made sure we had fun. My parents were not big on the city so you always took us there, visiting the museums and going to Central Park to feedi squirrels.These were adventures for me and I loved it.
You were the best and I’ll never forget you!!
