John Chessari Obituary

John Chessari Jr. John Chessari, Jr., a lifetime resident of the area, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at O.R.M.C., Arden Hill Campus in Goshen, N.Y. He was 79. The son of John Chessari and Emanuella Cappello Chessari, he was born December 30, 1926 in Pine Bush, N.Y. John was a retired Dairy Farmer with Chessari Brothers Farm in Pine Bush, N.Y., as well as a retired Standard Bred Horse Owner. He was a member of Church of the Infant Saviour in Pine Bush, N.Y., and member of the United States Trotting Association. A family statement reads: "John was a loving brother and uncle." Survivors include his brother, Anthony Chessari of Pine Bush; sister-in-law, Madlyn Chessari of Pine Bush; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother and father, John and Emanuella Chessari; three brothers, Charles Chessari, Salvatore Chessari and Joseph Chessari, and one sister, Teresa Chessari. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 20, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, Inc., 1525 Burlingham Rd., Pine Bush, N.Y. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 21, at 10 a.m. in Church of the Infant Saviour, Route 302, Pine Bush, N.Y., with Father Kevin Gallagher officiating. Burial will be in the family plot at St. Mary's Cemetery in Montgomery, N.Y. Arrangements were made by the William M. Gagan Funeral Home, Inc.
