Mary R. Lalli, a homemaker and 50 year resident of the area, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 4, 2018, at Folts Homes in Herkimer. She was 91.  The daughter of the late John Laurino and Jennie Lifrieri Laurino she was born on March 4,1926 in Manhattan, and educated in Manhattan schools.  In April 1945 she was united in marriage to Alfred Lalli, a blessed union of 52 years until his passing on August 1, 1997.  For many years Mary was a dedicated mother, housewife, and grandmother taking care of the needs of her loved ones. Survivors include her children, Cathy Lalli and partner Suzanne Randazzo of Herkimer NY, Freddy Lalli and his wife Lorna of Middletown NY; Sister, Anna Dehne and her husband Buddy of Florida, Brothers, Thomas Laurino  of Yonkers NY and John Laurino of Pen Yan, NY grandchildren, Richard A. Lalli and his wife Jennifer of Circleville NY, Theresa Lalli and her Fiancé  Fred Whittle  of Middletown NY,  Bob Deacon and wife Samantha of Newport NY, and Salvatore Uricola  and his wife Angela of Poland NY; great grandchildren, Saoirse Rose Lalli and Athena Juliette Canariato ; Mary is further survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins and is predeceased by her siblings,  Dominick Laurino, Camille DiSilvestro, and Helen Scotti.
Mary will be placed in eternal rest next to her husband Alfred on Saturday May 26, 2018 at 12:00pm in Jordanville Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to funeral directors, Richard A. Lalli (Mary's grandson) and Daniel J. Enea.
