Robert W. Broughal, a Retired Shop Steward for Wakefern Corporation, Teamsters Union 445 and longtime resident of the area, passed away on Friday June 1, 2018 in New York Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. He was 63.  The son of the late Simon Broughal and Loretta Powers Broughal he was born on December 22, 1954 in Bronx, NY.  Robert was a member of the Church of the Infant Saviour. Survivors include his wife Margaret at home, children, Patrick Broughal and his wife Kelly of Walker Valley, Katie Broughal of Pine Bush, John Broughal and his wife Beth of New Mexico. 7 grandchildren, Casey, Lucas, Faith, Noah, Dominic, Brayden and Colin, 2 brothers; Peter Broughal and his wife Pat, Terry Broughal and his wife Eileen, sister, Noreen Malvey. Robert is further survived by several nieces and nephews and is predeceased by his brothers Thomas and Dennis Broughal and his sister, Loretta Kalanz. Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 6, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday June 7, 2018 at 9:30am at the Church of the Infant Saviour, 22 Holland Ave Pine Bush, NY. Cremation will be private and take place at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery immediately following.
