Obituary of Catherine M. Babey

Catherine M. Babey Pine Bush, NY Formerly of Port Jervis, NY Catherine M. Babey, a former AT&T operator during WWII, and a homemaker entered into rest with Jesus on January 21, 2009 at ORMC Horton Campus. She was 83. The daughter of the late John J. Malloy and Agnes A. Condra Malloy, she was born on September 10, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY. A family statement reads: Catherine was a devoted mother and adored her 2 grandchildren. Survivors include her loving daughters, Cathleen Ciaccio of Pine Bush, NY and Susan DeSimone and her husband John of Andover, NJ, her son in law Anthony Ciaccio, her 2 loving grandchildren Jonathan Ciaccio and Bethanne Ciaccio, her loving brother Robert H. Malloy and his wife Grace of Washingtonville, NY. Catherine is also survived by many nieces and nephews and is predeceased by her husband Walter J. Babey. Visitation will be held on Friday January 23, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush NY. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 24, 2009 at 10:00am at the Funeral Home. Burial will take place in New Prospect Cemetery in Pine Bush. Arrangements entrusted to Richard A.
