Roland Buckridge DuBois “Bucky” Pine Bush, NY Roland Buckridge DuBois, a lifetime area resident passed away on Wednesday August 19, 2009 at Orange Regional Medical Center Horton Campus in Middletown. He was 92. The son of the late Cleveland DuBois and Edith Estella Buckridge DuBois, he was born on September 1, 1916 in Walker Valley, NY. He was a member of the Searsville Grange, the Church of the Infant Saviour in Pine Bush, and a 50 year member of the Pine Bush Volunteer Fire Department. Bucky is survived by his daughter in-law Lois DuBois of Pine Bush, grandsons Christopher DuBois and his wife Mary of Pine Bush, and Wayne Patrakis and Wife Lainie of California, his granddaughter Rami McKinney and Husband Thomas of Upstate NY, great-grandson Matthew DuBois of Pine Bush, and great-granddaughters Nicole Dubois of Pine Bush, Harley Dame of Hawaii and Phoenix McKinney also of Hawaii. He was predeceased by his wife Catherine. Visitation will be held on Sunday August 23, 2009 from 3-7pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham RD Pine Bush. Firematic services will take place at 6:15pm during the visitation. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday August 24, 2009 at 10:00am at the Church of the Infant Saviour with Fr. Kevin Gallagher officiating. Burial will take place in New Prospect Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Pine Bush Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 1, Pine Bush, NY 12566.
