Obituary of Arlene Evans McCoy

Arlene Evans McCoy a retired Therapy Aid for the Middletown Psych Center and a longtime resident of the area passed away on Friday May 22, 2009 at home. She was 74. The son of the late Thomas James Evans and Margaret Manley Evans, she was born on March 4, 1935 in NYC. A family statement reads, Mom was loyal to her family and had a sense of humor right up to the end. She was appreciative to all who helped her, and will be missed.” Survivors include her loving sister, Judy Haefeli and her husband Donald of Pine Bush, loving children Lance Evans McCoy and his wife Darlene of Huguenot, Margaret Cooper and her husband Richard of Pine Bush, and Daniel G. McCoy and his wife Leigh of Middletown, loving nieces, Donna Freyman of Pine Bush, Faith Anne Lessard of Pine Bush, and Gloria Kessler and her husband Karl of Pine Bush, loving nephew AJ Haefeli and his wife Meg of Pine Bush. Arlene is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Daniel G. McCoy, and her sons Thomas Evans McCoy and William G. McCoy. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday May 24, 2009 from 5-8pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd. Pine Bush, NY. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday May 25, 2009 at 12 Noon at the Church of the Infant Saviour with Fr. Kevin Gallagher officiating. Cremation had taken place at Cedar Hill Crematory. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Arlene’s name to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942. Arrangements entrusted to Richard A.
