My condolences to Aunt Pat and family. I am Susan Conneally-Distel, daughter of Thomas Conneally and Ruth. Sorry that life's circumstances did not allow all of the Conneally's to be a family. Thomas, Elizabeth and Brian (Uncle Johnny's god-son) are all doing very well. Among us, we have 10 children and 4 grandchildren. We are very close and truly a loving family.
On a side note, I would like to take this opportunity to let Conneally cousins know that I had breast cancer in 2017 and tested positive for the BRCA1 gene mutation. We are not sure if this came from Thomas or Ruth since both had cancer. This has passed onto Elizabeth, her 2 daughters and my daughter. I highly recommend that cousins get tested for your health and the health of your children.
From this obituary, it sounds like Uncle Johnny was a much better father than his older brother Thomas.
