May the Peace that only the Lord Jesus Christ can give be with you and comfort each one of you.
Richard and I had a common experience - both of us had careers in police work, he in New York, me in Texas. I think being a NYC detective takes a special breed of person - and he did the job well, as attested to by his commendations.
I have good memories of Richard growing up...when we would visit the family home in Pleasant Plains, there was always a lot going on. And Richard was a very active guy and so when I did see him, I remember him as being fun to be with.
The family gatherings were special too - Aunt Jean and all of you making tons of Christmas cookies, the guys playing ball, the large family gatherings...a special family.
May each of you enjoy the good memories of his life...and place your faith in Christ for your daily walk and the Life after we depart this world.
