Obituary of Marie E. Forstner

Marie E. Forstner Walker Valley, NY Marie E. Forstner, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday August 28, 2013. She was 62. The daughter of the late William Forstner and Augusta Schmidt Forstner, she was born on June 24, 1951 in Middletown, NY. Marie worked for years as a front end manager for the Thruway Market, and then for many years as a Greenhouse Grower for Stonehenge Farms. Marie was an avid outdoors woman who loved birds, butterflies, and nature. She took great pride in the beautiful flower gardens that she and George planted every year around their home. Survivors include her husband George W. Hylick, daughter, Andrea Cascun, and her husband Don, grandchildren; Giavanna, Gabriella, and Greyson. She is also survived by her siblings; Tom Forstner and his wife Carol, Ellen Smith and partner, Bob Krummel, Joan Forstner and husband Brian Harnett. Susan McDonald and husband Richard, Bill Forstner, Mike Forstner and wife Becky, and Beth Kasloski and husband John, many nieces, nephews, and friends and her supportive friend, Saul Lopez. She is predeceased by her beloved nephew, John Smith. Cremation will be private. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday August 31st, 2013 at the Walker Valley School House, Rte 52 and Marl Road, Walker Valley NY 12588 from 3-8pm. Arrangements entrusted to the William M.
