Obituary of Margaret M. Gill

Margaret M. Gill Walden, NY Margaret M. Gill, a retired employee of New York Telephone and 20 year resident of the area, passed away at her home on Wednesday May 9, 2012. She was 90. The daughter of the late Fred Jander and Lucy Dalton Jander, she was born on April 27, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY. Margaret was a member of the Church of the Infant Saviour in Pine Bush, and also a member of the Verizon Pioneers. Survivors include her children, James Gill Jr. and his wife Bernadette of Montgomery, and Kathleen Morano and her husband Nicholas of Ballston Spa, NY, grandchildren; James M., Sean and his wife Catherine, Jessica, and Katelyn and also nieces, grand nieces, great grandnieces and nephews. Margaret is predeceased by her husband James J. Gill Sr. Visitation will be held on Saturday May 12, 2012 from, 2-5pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd. Pine Bush. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday May 14, at 10am at the Church of the Infant Saviour with Fr. Kevin Gallagher officiating. Interment will take place in St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village in Queens, NY.
