Edward O. LaForge a Retired Treatment Assistant with the
Department of Mental Hygiene and a lifelong resident of the area,
passed away on Friday August 2, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical
Center in Middletown. He was 80. The son of the late Arthur
D. LaForge and Francis I. Brighton LaForge, he was born on May 10,
1933 in Graham, NY. Survivors include his bride of 61 years,
Teresa at home, 6 children; Frances Snyder and her husband Charles,
Edward A. LaForge and Susan, Thomas A. LaForge and his wife Nancy,
Terry Roller and her husband Butch, Lena Bruce and her husband
Martell, and RoseAnn LaForge and Keith. 15 grandchildren and 10
great-grandchildren. Edward was predeceased by his brother,
Arthur D. LaForge, and stepfather, Roy Caston. Services will be
private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers,
