Irene Lewis Bethel, NY Irene Lewis passed away on October 18, 2012, 1 month before her 83rd birthday at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. Irene was born in Pine Bush on November 19, 1929 and was a graduate of the Pine Bush High School. Irene was the lovely wife of the late Raymond Lewis. She attended the Pine Bush High School Golden Alumni Class Reunions and loved to play cards and bingo with many of her friends at the local senior citizens centers. Survivors include her sons; Glenn and Raymond Lewis, her grandchildren; Jeannette, Michael and Christopher Lewis. Irene was number 14 out of 15 brothers and sisters. She is further survived by her sisters; Julie Bear, and Katherine Lawless, brothers; Leonard Zazversky, Danny Zazversky and his wife Carol and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Mary and Michael Zazversky, sisters; Anne, Mary, Helen, and Eva, brothers; Frank, William, John, George, Stephen, and Nicholas. Visitation will be held on Sunday October 21, 2012 from 2-5pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham RD Pine Bush, NY. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday October 22, 2012 at 10am at the funeralhome with Pastor Robert Hewitt officiating. Interment will take place in New Prospect Cemetery.
