Obituary of Kenneth Andrew Charles McKay

Kenneth Andrew Charles McKay Pine Bush, NY Kenneth A. C. McKay, age 26, a self employed Automotive Paint Technician, entered into rest on January 21, 2014, his Grandfather's birthday. The son of Lauren Palinkas Carnevali and Kenneth A. McKay, he was born September 8, 1987 in Goshen, New York. Kenneth was a partner in the Custom Dreams Workshop in Pennsylvania. He loved his car, his family, his friends, and his girl Kelly VanDemark. Survivors include his mother, Lauren Carnevali and husband John of Pine Bush; his father, Kenneth A. McKay of Chicago; brothers, Peyton McKay of Chicago and John Carnevali of Pine Bush; maternal grandparents Barbara Palinkas and her life partner Daniel Coykendall; paternal grandparents Ellen Brink and husband Joseph; aunts, Kelli Palinkas-Greer and husband Greg, Jodi Palinkas-Levine and husband David, Lynne Tears and husband Bill, Cathy Cherubini and her husband Jay, and Karyn Carnevali; uncles, Christopher Palinkas and wife Julie, Andrew Palinkas and partner Beverly Brownsell, Tom Carnevali and wife Gi Gi; cousins, Sydney Palinkas, Alyssa Palinkas, Sam and Gideon Levine, Jovan and Meryl Palinkas, Michael Carnevali, Cathy, Carolyn, and John Paul Ambrose, and Matthew Marks. He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Andrew Palinkas Sr.; paternal grandfather, Malcolm McKay; and John and Carolyn Carnevali, and Thomas Carnevali. Celebration of Life will be held Sunday January 26, 2014 from 2-5pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc 1525 Burlingham Rd, Pine Bush, NY. Services will be held at 4:30 at the Funeral Home. Cremation will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Donations can be made to the Kenneth McKay Scholarship Fund.
