Obituary of Ruth A. Neeson

Ruth A. Neeson Thompson Ridge, NY Ruth A. Neeson, a Retired Secretary for Dr. Genovese in Goshen and longtime resident of the area, passed away on Wednesday November 9, 2011 at the Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She was 77. The daughter of the late Hugh Kane and Josephine Miskin Kane, she was born on October 29, 1934 in Plainfield, NJ. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Thomas Neeson, her 3 children; Thomas Neeson and his wife Angela of CT, Josephine Califana and her husband Jerry of Highland Mills, and Ruth Garvey of Thompson Ridge, 6 grand children; Francis T., Daniel, Thomas, Lisa Rose, David and Jason. She is further survived by additional family member; Frank Neeson and his wife Maureen, Helen Mooney, Cecilia Emanuel, Matt Neeson and his wife Terry, Peter Neeson and his wife Peggy and Geraldine Neeson, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Ruth is predeceased by, Joseph Neeson, Vincent Neeson, Phillip Emanuel, Harry Mooney, Thomas Neeson, and Marie Neeson. Visitation will be held on Sunday November 13, 2011 from 2-5pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday November 14, 2011 10:00am at the Church of the Infant Saviour with Fr. Kevin Gallagher officiating. Interment will take place at The Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne NY.
