Louis Penighetti, Owner and operator of Tri County Auto in Pine
Bush and longtime resident of the area passed away on Monday
February 18, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center. He was
73. The son of the late Louis Penighetti and Elda Magnone
Penighetti, he was born on January 3, 1940 in Hackensack, NJ.
A Veteran of the US Air Force, Louis served his country from
1959-1963, and was a member of the Walker Valley Fire Department
for 38 years. He will be missed by all. Survivors include his
wife Patricia of 54 years at home, sons; Joseph Penighetti and his
wife Dawn of Bloomingburg, and Barry Penighetti and his wife Lois
of Ocala, Florida, daughter; Laura Winterfeldt and husband Philip
of Brainerd, MN, 5 grandchildren, Cindy, Vicky and her husband
Jeff, Felicia, Tanya and Kevin. Family and friends may gather
on Wednesday February 27, 2013 from 4-7pm at the William M. Gagan
Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd. Pine Bush. A memorial service
will be offered at 6:30pm with Jim Ayers officiating, and Firematic
Services from the Walker Valley Fire Dept will immediately follow.
Cremation was private. Arrangements entrusted to the William
