Warwick, NY
Joan Powell a retired factory worker for AVON in Suffern, NY and
longtime resident of the area, passed away on Thursday March 7,
2013 at Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center. She was
73. The daughter of the late William Farrell and Cecelia Mann
Farrell, she was born on June 10, 1939 in NYC. Survivors
include her sons; Ronald Powell Jr., Leo Powell, Melvin Jennings
and Paul Powell, daughter; Cheryl Powell, 5 grandchildren, 1 great
grandchild, 3 sisters, 1 brother and several; nieces and nephews.
Joan is predeceased by her husband Ronald Powell Sr, 2
brothers and 1 sister. Visitation will be held on Thursday
March 14, 2013 from 11am -1pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home
Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush NY. Funeral services will be
conducted at 1pm at the funeral home with Pastor Robert B. Hewitt
officiating. Creamtion will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery
and burial of ashes will be conducted in the spring in the family
plot at Warwick Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the William M.
