Marcella A. Wenz, a home maker and longtime resident of the area
passed away at her home with her family by her side on Monday
October 14, 2013. She was 82. The daughter of the late
Edward J. Regan and Marcella Boyle Regan, she was born on May 17,
1931 in White Plains, NY. Survivors include her husband of 58
years, Joseph at home, children; Joseph Wenz Jr. and his wife
Joanne of Wallkill, Sheila Weddell and her husband Donald of
Newburgh, Marcella Vitek and her husband John of Wallkill and Bruce
Regan and his wife Marianne of Walden, 6 grandchildren, 6 great
grandchildren, 1 sister; Mary Elizabeth Sivertsen and her husband
Norman of Montgomery and several nieces and nephews. Marcella is
predeceased by her brother; Edward Regan. There will be no
visitation. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday October
17, 2013 at 10am at St. Mary's Church in Montgomery.
Cremation will take place in Cedar Hill Crematory in
Newburgh. Donations can be made to the Food Pantry of
Montgomery 2200 Ste. Rte 208, Montgomery NY 12549 and Hospice of
Orange and Sullivan Counties Inc. 800 Stony Brook Ct. Newburgh, NY
