Obituary of Arthur Eugene Bailey Sr.

Arthur Eugene Bailey Sr. Bloomingburg NY Arthur Eugene Bailey Sr, an Engineer for Local 825 in NJ and a longtime resident of the area passed away of April 17, 2016 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 81. The son of the late Arthur Townson Bailey and Helen Elizabeth Pecan Bailey, he was born on July 30, 1934. Art worked for the Operating Engineers Union Local 825 in NJ from the age of 16 until 62. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Iona Steinhilber Bailey at home, his children, Arthur Bailey and his wife Debbie of Wurtsboro, Bruce Bailey and his wife Annette of Pine Bush, Jean Bellia and her husband Bob of Pine Bush, Ray Bailey of Middletown, and Tina Bailey of Monticello, brothers, Norman Bailey, and Dickie Bailey, 2 sisters, Carolyn Wright and Linda Bailey. Arthur is further survived by many many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his daughter, Helen Elizabeth Reuter, 2 sisters, and 1 brother. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 21, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the William M. Gagan Funeral Home Inc. 1525 Burlingham Rd Pine Bush, NY. Funeral Services will be offered on Friday April 22, 2016 at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Bloomingburg Cemetery.
