Ann Lacouette, a retired Letter Carrier for the USPS in Newburgh, and longtime resident of the area, passed away on Monday July 11, 2016 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. She was 86. The daughter of the late Richard J. Hudson and Margaret Cronin, she was born on December 17, 1929 in New York City. Ann was Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Shawangunk Fire Department. Survivors include her children, Michael Lacouette and his wife Darlene of Wallki and Patricia Lacouette of Pine Bush; Grandchildren, Renee and Dylan Lacouette. Ann is predeceased by her son, Gene Lacouette and sister, Margaret Piccolo.Ann will have a private ceremony with the children an grandchildren who loved her.
