Obituary of John C. Konrad

John C. Konrad Thompson Ridge, NY John C. Konrad of Thompson Ridge, NY passed away on Friday August 5, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 68. The son of the late John V. Konrad and Helen Pustola Konrad, he was born in Newburgh, NY on February 4, 1948 and raised in New Windsor. John worked as a frozen food manager for Shop Rite in Vails Gate for 49 years. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Joanne Gozza Konrad, his children, Suzanne Paffenroth and her husband Tim, John V. Konrad, Jennifer Terzini and her husband Michael, grandchildren, Nikole and her husband Luke, Kaylee, John, Michael, and Thomas, great grandsons, LJ and Zander, sister Barbara Grammar Booth. John is predeceased by his sister, Dolores Mannix. The family would like to thank Dr. Dinsmore and his staff for the care and comfort that was given to John. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday August 8, 2016 at 10am at St. Paul’s RC Church in Bullville, NY with Fr. Sean Harlow O.Carm officiating. Cremation will be private.
