Euphemia DiTuro “Famie’ Pine Bush, NY Euphemia “Famie” DiTuro, a beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great grandmother, passed away peacefully, at home on January 26, 2017. She was 88 years old. The daughter of the late William and Leah O’Neil, she was born in Jersey City 1928. Their she lived with her parents and brother Bill until she married. Famie moved to Wood Ridge NJ with her husband Joseph DiTuro, they were married 64 years until his passing. There they had many friends, were active in the community and raised their three boys. Upon retirement, they built their log cabin in Upstate New York, where they lived for over 30 years. She loved to paint, do arts and crafts and landscape her property. Not one to shy away from a good conversation, she loved to entertain, cook and have friends and family to her expertly set table. She is survived by her three sons and their wives, Joseph and Mary DiTuro, William and Cathe DiTuro and John and Anne Marie DiTuro. Her nine grandchildren Joseph, Stephen, Lauren, Paul, William, Lisa, Alex and Collin DiTuro. And her 5 great grandchildren. At the request of the family, funeral arrangements will be privately held.
