The 156th Field Artillery Veterans Association extends its deepest sympathy to Scott's family and friends. May God comfort and strengthen each of you as He walks with you during this difficult time. LTC (R) Steve May, President ARTILLERYMAN'S PRAYER: I pray that I may live to shoot until my dying day. And when it comes to my last round I then must humbly pray. When in the Lord's great FDC being judged for all I do. He takes my hand, smiles and says "you're a Redleg through and through". With lanyard and compass by my side, the Lord speaks these words to me. "Welcome home, you've served me well, come join my battery".

I was saddened to read this news on Tres Dias FB page this evening. As a believer in Christ, we know that we're just passing thru this world on our way Home to Glory. Scott is standing in Glory right now (w/ Jesus) and we all know that he heard the words we long to hear one day, "Well, Done, My Son. Welcome Home."
