Scott B. Pinder April 4, 1963 – August 1, 2021 On August 1, 2021, after a 2-year battle with cancer, Scott B. Pinder peacefully passed away at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh NY. He was 58. Scott attended Cornwall High School and then served in the Army and National Guard. He loved his job as a commercial driver for First Student Bus Company. Scott loved his job and “his kids” that he drove to school. He was known as the “walking GPS” as he could get you anywhere. Scott’s hobbies included fishing, motorcycling, and listening to music. As a member of the Tres Dias community, he served on many teams for Tres Dias, Vida Nueva, and Kairos prison ministries. Scott is survived by his partner Cindy Edmunds, his mother and stepfather, Ruth, and Richard Reilly, and brother Stewart Hofstrom of Campbell Hall, NY; Andrew Pinder, and his wife Brigitte of New Windsor NY. He is also survived by nephew Richard Pinder and his wife Lacey and their daughter Lillian of Dunellen NJ, and nephew Charles Pinder, and his wife Athena of Newburgh, NY. Scott is predeceased by his father Abbott McNeil Pinder. A memorial service will be held on August 21, 2021, at 11:00am, at Trinity Lutheran Church 2520 Rt. 208 Walden NY 12586.
