Obituary of Frederick Gross

Frederick Gross Bloomingburg, NY Frederick Gross a Third Line Manager for IBM in Poughkeepsie and long time resident of the area passed away on Thursday November 10, 2011 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 75. The son of the late Joseph Gross and Paula Hornug Gross he was born on June 27, 1936 in Chicago, IL. Frederick proudly served his country from 1953-1974 in the United States Air Force and retired in 1974 as a Senior Master Sergeant. He was the recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, an avid golfer, and enjoyed hunting and fishing and also belonged to the American Legion G. Paul Bettinger Post 1308 in Pine Bush, and was a lifetime member of the Freemasons. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Marie at home, his 4 children; Larry Gross and his wife Melissa of North Carolina, Carolea LaBagh and her husband Edward of Fair Oaks, NY, Jeffery Gross and his wife Claudia of PA, and Michael Gross of Mass. 10 grandchildren, Gina, Alex, JuliAnn, Eddie, Lauren, Joe, Zachary, Sam, Isabelle and Owen, and also several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Judy Liss. Graveside Services and Inurnment of ashes will be conducted on Wednesday November 16, 2011 at 12:00pm at New Prospect Cemetery with full Military Honors.
