To everyone in the Bruyn family my deepest condolences for the loss of Jon. I remember all the good times growing up with Lisa and the rest of the family. All the fun times sleigh riding, playing outside, family dinners and sitting with your grandmother at the house. Your family is a very loving one and you will be missed. To the Bruyn Family, I cannot find the words to express my sincerest condolences to all of you for the loss of Jon. I see this picture and it brings me back to playing badminton on the side lawn of your home on Rt 212 in Saugerties with Jon and Peter! And Mrs. Bruyn watching from the corner of the front porch with a dish towel in her hand.
And then visiting Peter and Wayne in Southampton and taking Jon to see his brothers and staying at John Ducks! His laughter was infectious!
As you enter heaven I know your mom is waiting at the gates with one of her famous apple cakes and that is the joy I get knowing you two will be reunited!

You were a very special brother to me Jon from when we were little kids we always had a strong unique bond. You always were there for me and my family. Your nieces and nephews Marsie, Rich & Shelly, Rob & Naomi & Mike & Lisa love you and always will . Their children loved being with you whether it be a holiday or damn weekend or just a visit. You never failed to show your love to all of us. We will have our beautiful memories to hold on to and a piece of you in our heart’s. Be at peace and enjoy heaven. We’ll see you when we get there. I know you’ll be there to greet us, God needed you more than we did. Love you always.
